The former English cricketer Phillip ‘Daffy’ DeFreitas played county cricket for Leicestershire, Lancashire and Derbyshire as well as appearing in 44 Test matches and 103 ODI’s. Daffy has the distinction of being the only player in the history of the County Championship to take a five wicket haul against each of the 18 first-class counties.
Currently Daffy is the Director of Cricket at Rothley Park Cricket Club passing on his considerable expertise to all age groups at the club.
