Cold rolled steel
Cold rolled steel is produced from hot rolled steel once the steel making process is completed and the steel is at an ambient temperature. This allows the steel to be produced with specific mechanical properties, whilst controlling gauge to specific tolerances. Once cold rolled, the steel is annealed and skin passed giving a consistent high quality finish.
